Today, AI can detect diseases, drive cars, process massive amounts of data to solve problems faster than humans, and be an English teacher wherever and whenever you need it. A teacher, not a creator, or a translator! Because AI shouldn't be a shortcut and it shouldn't do the work for us. When we gain the use of something new and use it excessively, we have to think about what we are losing if we don't do the thing that has been substituted. Nobody remembers telephone numbers or uses paper maps anymore. But what if we don't learn languages because of AI? Surely we would be losing something greater than remembering a few digits or how to get from A to B. I believe that learning languages will still be appealing because, among other things, business meetings and decisions won't be delegated to AI. A human touch- connection, feeling, trust- will always be needed, and the only way to develop that is through words, spoken without machines. Only the future will reveal the changes AI will have on humanity. For now, let's see how it can be your 24/7 English teacher, and how it is revolutionising language learning. TIPS
